This is the draft for my found video project. I found almost all of the clips I want to use, I just need to shorten it to thirty seconds and figure out what to do for transitions and sound. I'm only using footage from video games for this project.

Video Art Reading Questions
1. “‘Art’ and ‘artful’ are separate, though linked, terms that exist to help us differentiate between what can and cannot be considered to be art. Artful techniques may enliven commercial television, advertising, etc., but these techniques are not in themselves what we would normally call art. Art lies in the intentionality of the artist: to make or conceive of something without the constraint of some other purpose.” What are your thoughts on this quote from the reading?
2. What do you think makes video art unique from a traditional piece of artwork?

Digital Imagination - Project 2
This is my stop motion animation of my triptych image. In this project I tried to show how the pixels created the images. You can do anything with your imagination, and you can also create your ideas. I think this better shows the idea of creating video games.

Walter Benjamin Reading Questions
1. Walter Benjamin writes, "The uniqueness of a work of art is inseparable from its being imbedded
in the fabric of tradition. This tradition itself is thoroughly alive
and extremely changeable." What is it that changes the tradition to something different and unique?
2. Walter Benjamin also wrote about the reproduction of works of art and how it has been carried out throughout the years. What do you think about works of art being replicated? Do they still show the same feeling and emotion that the original had? In an emotional sense, what makes a replicated piece different from the original?
